Brief Introduction
We are seeking a qualified dental professional to join our Global Technology Center (GTC) in Mumbai, India to join our Dental-Dermal Health Unit. The candidate will play a critical role in managing in house and external dental clinical studies, adhering to good clinical practice guidelines which encompass drafting and submitting protocols for ethics committee approval, training clinical staff and sites, ensuring participant safety, maintaining proper documentation and reporting procedures involving adverse events, and maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Coordination & Management: Manage day-to-day operations of the in-house dental clinic. Help support the execution of external oral health clinical research studies.
- Protocol & Documentation: Develop research protocols and other study documentation ensuring compliance to ethical principles and regulatory guidelines.
- Regulatory & Safety Compliance: Oversee stringent infection control procedures, health and hygiene practices, and adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements and safety and quality standards.
- Study Oversight: Manage clinical coordination, including scheduling, protocol adherence, data quality oversight (i.e. integrity of data collection), and reporting. Monitor study progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep research on track.
- Governance: Act as the primary on-site contact for ethics committees and regulatory bodies, particularly regarding Adverse Events or facility inquiries.
- Financial Oversight: Coordinate approval of expenses and department budget with Clinical Manager.
- Staff Leadership: Train and supervise in house clinical support staff and be available to train external site teams.
- Data: Management and analysis.
- Clinical study reports: Prepare interim and final reports, manuscripts, and presentations to disseminate research findings to the scientific community and other stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Professional Credentials: Must be a trained dentist (BDS or MDS) with the appropriate credentials to conduct dental evaluations and procedures.

Clinical Research Expertise: Demonstrated experience in writing and executing protocols and conducting oral health clinical trials.

GCP Knowledge: Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements and site documentation.

Facility Management: Experience in administration and managing clinical facilities is preferred.

Communication: Good oral and written communication skills

Leadership: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross functional teams. Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize tasks and have some supervisory experience.
