Job Summary

St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic School is seeking a caring, responsible, and dependable Club Tobias Aftercare Aide to support students in our after‑school program. The Aftercare Aide helps maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that reflects and supports the mission and values of our Catholic school community.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise and actively engage with students during after‑school program hours
  • Assist with snack time, homework support, indoor and outdoor play, and organized activities
  • Monitor student behavior and ensure the safety and well‑being of all students
  • Uphold and model Catholic values in interactions with students, staff, and parents
  • Communicate effectively with the After Care Coordinator, teachers, and parents
  • Assist with cleaning and organizing the aftercare space before and after program hours
  • Follow all school policies and procedures, including emergency and safety protocols

Job Requirements

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work effectively with children in a group setting
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Warm, patient, and consistent interactions with students
  • Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education

Preferred:

  • Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or camp setting
  • CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required
