Job Summary
As a Commercial Services Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and executing the sourcing strategy for commercial services spend categories to maximize quality, cost, and service levels.
Reporting to Commercial Svcs Procurement Mgr, applying strategic sourcing methodologies to meet internal stakeholder requirements and organizational priorities. This is an exciting role that allows you to drive business growth and maximize value by generating significant free cash flow (FTF) returns and managing optimization opportunities across the Latin America region.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute best-in-class sourcing strategies for the Latin America Commercial Services region to drive cost optimization, supplier innovation, and value creation for the business.
- Build and manage high-impact relationships with senior management and key stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Lead complex negotiations and establish long-term agreements with key suppliers to ensure competitive advantages for the organization.
- Define and implement supplier selection and performance management processes to guarantee high service levels, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal) to enhance the strategic impact of procurement on business objectives.
- Monitor industry trends and risks to proactively adjust sourcing strategies and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, International Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement and corporate spend management.
- Language: Advanced proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Systems Knowledge: Previous experience with SAP and Ariba.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
