Compensation & Benefits Analyst – Remote within Canada
What a Typical Day Looks Like
- Execute annual compensation cycles, including Merit planning, validation, and implementation in alignment with established guidelines and timelines
- Process standard pay actions (e.g., out-of-cycle increases), ensuring accuracy, appropriate approvals, and adherence to compensation policies
- Perform data validation, system uploads, audits, and reconciliations related to compensation changes and annual cycles
- Support the compensation benchmarking process by preparing survey submissions, analyzing market data, and contributing to pay recommendations
- Prepare and maintain recurring and ad hoc compensation reports to support internal equity analysis, decision-making, and leadership reporting
- Assisting consultants in designing, implementing and continuous improvement of all Westerns total rewards programs
- Contributing to the day-to-day administration of total rewards processes, such as RRSP contributions, and benefits billing
