About the role An exciting opportunity has opened up in Strategy Brand and Marketing Team. In the role, the successful candidate will: External Communications • Be accountable for the design and operationalisation of systems which assure the quality, completeness and regulatory compliance of our marketing communications. Relevant regulations include MiFID II, the CBI Consumer Protection Code 2025 and the Data Protection Act (2018). • Will require engagement with, and co-ordination of, multiple stakeholders across our marketing, wealth and capital markets team, as well as the maintenance of close working relationships with risk and compliance colleagues. • The role will report to the Head of Marketing Communications within the Strategy, Brand and Marketing team but operate cross-functionally. • Own procedure documents related to external comms process. • Carry out assurance work for process.
Reputation and Strategy • Review of reputation policy and related procedures. Ownership of disseminating policy and procedures across Davy. • Manage reputation MI with SBM. • Comprehensive review of strategy and reputation-related risks, assuring the completeness of related coverage in our existing policy architecture. • Updating policy and procedures if needed.
• Reviewing and evolving processes, procedures and controls which give operational expressions to our risk policies around strategy and reputation.
1LOD • Designing and executing an assurance programme to test existing controls, making recommendations for change including control additions; • Recording and investigating relevant operational incidents, errors or near misses, evolving controls to mitigate their occurrence into the future; • Prepare regular risk and control reports for management.
