About the role

As Compliance Ranger you will be a part of the Local Laws and Parking team and responsible for undertaking local laws and animal management compliance investigations.  Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing initial response to animal management and local laws breaches.
• Investigating community compliance and licensing issues in accordance with adopted policies and procedures.
• Providing telephone, site based and counter reception services in a highly customer focussed manner.
• Inspecting properties and liaising with property/animal owners with respect to breaches of legislation.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have: 

• Experience undertaking investigations and making sound decisions based on legislation, policy and evidence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently manage challenging situations.
• Experience in safely handling, capturing and impounding animals, or the ability to quickly develop these skills.
• The ability to be resilient, agile, and a supportive team member.
• Current C class drivers licence
• Certificate IV Government Investigations or substantial equivalent experience
• Construction card
• The ability to work in line with our values of safety and wellbeing, communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership

This is a permanent full time position, with a salary commencing at $88,195 plus 12.5% superannuation.
