Consumer Digital Engagement Specialist

For maternity leave cover we’re looking for an experienced, organised and positive minded Consumer Digital Engagement Manager, and we hope that’s you.
Looking forward to joining our Marketing team for a period of 7 months (Jun - Dec) and taking the lead in our media and digital marketing activities towards pet owners in Benelux for all our brands? Then you definitely want to read further!
We have big plans for our Hill’s brands! You will be “the go to person” for not only the brand managers but the entire commercial organization for elevating our digital experiences. We want to put the consumer journey at the heart of our conversations, which means focussing on the touchpoints that matter!
What you’ll do
As a part of our Benelux marketing team, you will be working closely with our digital trainee and brand managers, but also the wider commercial team which is connected closely to customers. Below is a sample of what you will experience and expect to accomplish:
- Responsible for implementation, management, evaluation and continuous improvement of our 2026 ATL and digital media campaigns in Benelux working closely with our Media Agency in both Belgium and The Netherlands.
- Lead the 2027 media plan development process in collaboration with Benelux Marketing Lead and EMEA experts in the UK.
- Lead, implement and continuously improve our Search (SEA, SEO), Social Media and CRM Consumer and B2B strategies in Benelux in collaboration with local agencies and the expert team in the UK and our digital trainee.
- Be responsible for management of our Benelux websites, including maintenance and optimisation of UX, in collaboration with our digital experts in the UK, adaptation of global and development of local content.
- Lead analysis and reporting of critical metrics for all our digital touchpoints and programs,
- Act as the digital expert for the organization, responsible for elevating the digital skills throughout the organization and connecting to digital experts at our customers to build meaningful partnerships and optimally leverage retail media opportunities

- Experienced (3-5 years experience) in ATL and digital media management, preferably with media agencies with strong planning and follow through skills.
- An organised self-starter with a can-do mentality and strong commercial business sense.
- Enthusiastic, people & pet loving team player with strong attention to detail.
- You easily master new or continuously changing digital tools and have extensive experience (incl Google Analytics, AdWords) and comprehensive knowledge of SEO & SEA, CRM journeys, social media engagement, Photoshop, HTML etc
- Developed creative copy or content that engaged people (BtC, BtB). Write with a good “pen” (easy to read, adjusted to target audience). Experience in translation & transcreation from English master copy is a plus
- Fluency in Dutch and English, French is another big plus
- Proficient computer skills, with Google Tools specifically
- A Bachelor degree in Marketing or equivalent and ideally specific Digital Marketing certifications
