We are recruiting for a Contract and Supply Chain Management Specialist to join the Norway OCTG Department, based from our Stavanger office. The role will:

 

  • Support Deputy Department General Manager (DDGM) for achieving the budget and organizational targets, and contribute to commercial performance responsibilities
  • Execute and maintain OCTG sales and its related services contract with a key customer as main contact point with both customer and vendors
  • Execute the sales activities with supervision by DDGM
  • Contribute to DX initiatives with the customers aligning with strategic business goals in the SCM projects
  • Identify opportunities for process innovation, develops and executes digitalization strategies aligned with a customer as well as SCM strategies and internal stakeholders

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Manage and maintain assigned SCM and OCTG contracts with customers and subcontractors, ensuring accurate and timely execution in line with contractual requirements
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams (Norway OCTG Dept. and Petroleum Services AS) and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of services
  • Support commercial activities, including client communication, proposal preparation, and contribution to sales initiatives
  • Plan and execute day-to-day SCM and OCTG operational activities, ensuring alignment with team objectives and high service quality
  • Review and improve existing processes by identifying inefficiencies and proposing practical improvements to enhance operational effectiveness
  • Support implementation and utilisation of digital tools and data integration initiatives in collaboration with relevant stakeholders (e.g., DX Lead, Ascend SC, etc.)
  • Contribute to standardisation of processes, tools, and workflows across SCM operations
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required to support business activities

 

To be considered for this position you will need the following skills and experience

 

Essential

 

  • Experience in energy industry
  • Experience in customer-facing and contract management
  • Work experience in an international company, working globally across time zones
  • Fluent both in English and Norwegian (written and verbal)
  • Commercial negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office app, Power Automate, Power BI, Visma and SAP, Cognos Analytics or equivalent/similar systems
  • Stakeholder management, both internally and externally
  • Familiar with Norwegian working environment
  • Excellent time management skills, with ability to prioritise effectively
  • Self-motivated
  • Team worker

 

Desired

 

  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Economy, Business, or Accounting
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Contract management and operation for OCTG provision and SCM projects
  • Proficiency of any industrial SCM related systems, Oracle, SalesForce and reporting tool
  • Strong familiarity with compliance principles, including strict adherence to internal policies
