We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary

•   Oversee and safeguard cost controls for Electric Transmission projects.
•   Monitor actual project cost and/or work status data to ensure project is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
•   Prepare and analyze monthly cost reports for management.
•   Evaluate and monitor internal controls processes.
•   Conduct meetings with contractors and company personnel on cost control matters
•   Provide additional project support to Controls Specialists

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:

0-2+ years of relevant experience in a directly related field

2-3+ years of relevant experience in a directly related field

Knowledge of cost controls principles
Good verbal/writing/presentation skills
Effective work and project management skills
Effective decision making and problem solving
Effective math and computer skills
Effective analytical skills
Works effectively with employees at all levels and external personnel
Consistently applies good business judgment
Applies analytical abilities to diverse issues
Manages multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to verify data and present statistical reports and documentation

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Bachelor

Preferred Disciplines: Construction Management, Engineering, Business

Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above

Expected Hiring Base Salary Range:

Associate Controls Specialist: $58700 - $76200

Controls Specialist: $73200 - $95000

The expected hiring base salary range is the range we anticipate hiring within for this position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and work location. This is not intended to represent the full salary range for the position or limit future compensation growth.
