Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
Job Summary
St Clare of Assisi seeks to bring the fullness of the Gospel to its parishioners and community, collaborating with the Holy Spirit, to foster faith in Jesus Christ. We seek to follow our Lord’s Great Commission to make disciples of all nations through the renewal of Christian relationships, marriage, and the family. Toward that end, the Director is responsible for implementing our Data-Informed, Full Circle Relationship Ministry® — a ministry and evangelization strategy that provides vision, community, and skills for single, engaged, and married people. The Director will lead a Relationship Culture Team responsible for executing this initiative to invite, disciple, and accompany members of our parish and community through Outreach and Ongoing Engagements into Growth Journeys where relationship skills content is delivered and lives are transformed. The Director will also serve as the chief liaison with our parish’s ministry partner, Communio. Our parish uses Communio’s resources and services for evangelization. This will be a part-time position, between 10 to 20 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities
Coordinate and implement our parish’s Data-Informed, Full-Circle Relationship Ministry, with consultative support from our Communio Church Strategist, to achieve our Mission Plan in the following ways:
- Organize and ensure execution of regular mobile surveys of Sunday Mass attendees.
- Develop a culture of evangelization that supports the parish’s movement from “maintenance” to “mission”.
- Organize and host regular Relationship Culture Team meetings (at least monthly) to analyze, plan, and review ministry experiences and events.
- Host or co-host ministry experiences along with parish staff and others involved in this apostolate.
- Track and analyze data to ensure Relationship Culture Team is on track to achieve Mission Outcomes and Activities and/or recalibrate strategy when necessary, i.e. inputting event registrants/attendees and tracking movement of new and existing members/guests up the engagement ladder.
- Develop and manage internal promotion of ministry activities (email, Facebook posts, announcements, etc.) and coordinate with our Communio Church Strategist to deploy multi-channel outreach campaigns to invite the community to participate.
- Recruit and train new volunteers to create sustainable ministry through division of labor— hospitality, event logistics, childcare, relationship skills Growth Journey leaders, and more.
