Prison Break. Breakout. Fixer Upper. This Old House.: Are these shows your jam? Imagine if there was a job where day-to-day was a combination of these types of shows - assisting dogs and cats to bust out of traditional shelters, where staff love them but often don’t have enough resources to save them. That’s where you come in! By working with those same shelter staff members who want to help them, you can get those animals out and give them a place to land safely at the shelter of the future, The Best Friends Pet Resource Center, where our staff can help with their rehabilitation journey. And, not only do you get to help the dogs and cats, but you also get to help the staff who try so hard to save the animals in the traditional shelter set-up by giving them support to improve their shelter, make their jobs more rewarding, and to save more animals. Shelter Partnership Coordinators are on the front line of lifesaving, playing a direct role in achieving Best Friends Animal Society’s no-kill mission and goal by selecting and pulling animals from priority shelters, and then helping priority shelter partners make enhancements to their shelter and develop and implement lifesaving programming. We’re seeking someone who is savvy with dogs and cats, loves problem solving, is great with people, and not afraid to get covered in fur to bring about the future of animal sheltering. Does this sound like a dream job to you? If so, apply today for the Shelter Partnership Coordinator role and make that dream a reality!
