Job Summary

Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Church & School  in Creve Coeur, MO has an immediate opening for an experienced Custodian to assist in cleaning the entire campus.  This position is full time (40 hours / week) and will include overtime as need to set up for meetings and events. 

 

Position Description: This is a temporary custodial position for the entire OLP Parish Campus.

 

Position Summary: 

Duties include but not limited to: cleaning of the school, parish life center and church.

General cleaning of classrooms, restrooms and halls.  Assist with set-up and cleanup of school lunches, meeting rooms, parish activities and snow removal when needed (often times this is required off regular shift hours for which overtime is paid).

 

The workday for this position is normally 10:00 am – 6:30 pm

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience with custodial work, floor maintenance and general maintenance in a school or office environment.
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must be detailed oriented.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Required to work off shift hours during winter time for snow removal.
  • Must complete or have completed the workshop for Protecting God’s Children and have a current background check.
