Job Role & Responsibilities

Role:

The DMU Specialist will be responsible for executing vehicle level virtual checks for 3&4W commercial vehicles

Responsibilities:

• Handling DMU of 3W ICE and EV vehicles
• Evaluate DFA/DFS issues on vehicles received from manufacturing plant in each phase and suggest countermeasures
• Own issues and follow up for countermeasures from Design/VI
• Proto assembly and part development support

Technical/ Functional:

• Basic 3W knowledge
• Ability to understand Product Architecture
• Knowledge of basic engineering design concept
• Visualize how parts fit and assemble
• Ability to foresee assembly & serviceability issues
• Performing clearance and interference checks
• Conducting ergonomics analysis
• Running assembly simulations

Specific expertise required for functional areas:
