We are currently seeking a DOT/Fleet Compliance Admin for our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma location.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain current registrations and titles for commercially registered vehicles.
- Ensure that DOT Federal Regulations are met for the company and to assist managers, supervisors and DOT personnel in the company to meet compliance needs.
- Data entry for vehicle maintenance and vehicle management.
- Report to the Fleet & DOT Manager, but also acts as support staff to the field management, supervisors and other personnel.
- Ensure that tractors, trailers, pickups and any other equipment have the appropriate paperwork to meet compliance.
- Perform DOT vehicle audits and inspections on equipment.
- Performs general office/secretarial tasks (i.e. - receive and give messages and other administrative duties as assigned by management.)
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma/G.E.D (preferred) or equivalent.
- Work Experience: 0-2 Years
- Demonstrated proficiency in working in an office environment.
- Skills in Microsoft Office are required.
- Valid Driver's License. Some company driving will be required.
- Have the ability to write reports
- Have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, supervisors, or any other company personnel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma/G.E.D (preferred) or equivalent.
- Work Experience: 2-4 years
- 2+ years’ relevant experience working with FMCSA/DOT regulations
- Previous experience with DOT quarterly hub permit and single trip permit management
- Relevant experience or exposure to assigned product line
- Proficiency with Electronic Logging Device (ELD) usage and outputs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to identify problems and direct efforts to address these issues appropriately
- Ability to effectively communicate procedures with personnel at all levels of the organization
