Database Developer

Optimiza is seeking to hire a Database Developer, who is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database solutions to ensure high performance, security, scalability, and data integrity. The role involves developing and optimizing database objects, supporting data migration and integration activities, monitoring database performance, and implementing security best practices. The Database Developer collaborates with software engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable, efficient, and scalable data solutions that support business and application requirements. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain database systems, ensuring high performance and security. • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers. • Ensure database integrity, data consistency, and scalability. • Collaborate with software developers and other teams to define database requirements and solutions. • Perform regular database maintenance, including backup, restoration, and performance tuning. • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including slow queries and data discrepancies. • Implement data security measures to protect sensitive and confidential information. • Ensure compliance with data regulations and standards. • Monitor database performance and make recommendations for improvements. • Plan, develop, and execute data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), data mapping, data cleansing, reconciliation, and validation to ensure accurate and successful migration between legacy and target systems.
