Demand  Planner Netherlands

We are seeking a Demand & Copacking Planner for our subsidiary in Amsterdam (Weesp), the Netherlands. Reporting to the Demand & Copacking Planning Director. The Demand & Copacking Planner will lead the development, alignment, and communication of the demand plan for the Netherlands, ensuring it reflects cross-functional inputs and the latest commercial and customer plans to support business objectives.

The role acts as the key link between the commercial teams and  supply chain to deliver an aligned, synchronized demand plan and drive continuous improvement. In addition, the position is responsible for local copacking replenishment planning to ensure timely stock availability and the achievement of casefill targets.

What you'll do

 

  • Build Collaborative Demand Plan

Regularly interact with commercial teams (CDT's, and consumer marketing) to gather customer plans & other demand inputs. Determine deviations vs. demand plan, gain alignment & document key assumptions.

  • Review Demand Plan

Prepare & participate in the monthly CBP discipline process to develop an aligned demand plan. Gaps & opportunities are identified, quantified & addressed.

  • Synchronize Supply & Demand

Ensure alignment of final demand plan to supply plan. Identify and ensure communication of supply risks/opportunities/constraints, potential solutions, and impact on “unconstrained demand plan”.

  • Support New Product Planning & Life Cycle Planning

Work cross functionally to finalize pipeline volume & first 6 months of demand for new products. Track/measure actual shipments vs. documented key assumptions. Collaborate with cross- functional team to manage & communicate sku performance and life cycle changes.

  • Build & review local copacking planning according to demand and local copacking constraints, elaborate a weekly copacking planning for the next 3 months and review it weekly to stick to business requirements.
  • Communicate & Manage Demand

Monitor orders and shipments on a regular basis. Identify/Communicate significant changes.

  • Maintain & Align Master Data for Products.
  • Inventory & SLOB Management

What you will bring to the role:

 

  • 3 -5+ years of Consumer Goods experience in Customer Development, Manufacturing, Customer Service & Logistics, or Marketing; SAP R/3 and APO-DP systems experience a plus
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Business; Logistics or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with SAP R/3 and APO-DP (or similar planning tools) preferred.
  • Very strong analytical skills and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable working with Google tools, planning systems, reports, and basic statistical forecasts.
