The Demand Planner is responsible for building accurate, insight‑driven demand forecasts that enable effective supply planning and ensure product availability across assigned markets. The role partners closely with commercial, finance, and supply chain teams to translate market trends, sales inputs, and promotional activities into robust demand plans. This position drives forecast accuracy, supports inventory optimization, and strengthens the overall CBP cycle to uphold Edrington’s standards.
Make an Impact
- Develop and maintain 18‑month rolling demand forecasts for assigned markets, brands, or channels.
- Analyze historical performance, market trends, commercial inputs, and promotional plans to refine demand signals.
- Identify risks, opportunities, and forecast variances, providing clear commentary and actionable insights.
- Support the monthly CBP cycle, ensuring timely preparation of demand reviews with accurate data and insights.
- Work closely with Commercial, Marketing and Finance to align volume expectations and business drivers.
- Highlight demand‑related risks to supply continuity and propose mitigation or contingency plans.
- Monitor inventory health, slow‑moving stock, and service levels to ensure availability while optimizing inventory.
- Track root causes of service gaps and lead improvement actions where relevant.
- Timely replenishment to warehouses outside of Singapore.
- Provide quarterly stock provision list to Finance.
- Support Finance on monthly invoice reconciliation for all goods receipts.
- Manage the inbound delivery via ASN to ensure timely good receipts by 3PL.
- Material Master Data Maintenance and Creation in SAP.
- Drive enhancements in forecasting tools, processes, and data quality.
- Champion global and regional supply chain initiatives within the team.
- Support the adoption of best practices and standard ways of working across markets and stakeholders.
Your Talent and Skills
- Tertiary education in Business, Supply Chain, Logistic Management or equivalent.
- Working experience with focus on Demand & Supply planning, Sales and Operation Planning, and Inventory Management.
- Prior experience of working across regions and matrix organisations a strong advantage.
- Strong stakeholders’ management, with the confidence to lead/participate in cross-functional discussions and decision-making.
- Strong analytical skills and proficient in MS Excel.
- Able to work and deliver results under pressure.
- Able to work independently and be a collaborative team player.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
