Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Understanding of Vehicle proprietary parts (Mainly Suspensions, Steering, Front Axle,Brake) Knowledge of Vehicle system parts supplier/process for above mentioned systems
- Study & Analysis of SOR/ Drawings for vehicle proprietary components.
- Knowledge of selection of ideal manufacturing processes based on drawing/Tolerances.
- Knowledge of cycle time estimation / Most techniques
- Cost Estimation for proprietary parts from drawing.
- Component Cost Benchmarking.
- Knowledge of target Costing / Business perspective.
- Coordination with various agencies (Design/Product Planning / Sourcing)
- Knowledge of VAVE
- Cost Reduction & Cost Improvements in vehicle proprietary components.
- Knowledge of preparing BOM for proprietary parts.
- Standiazation of child parts.

Critical Experience
Knowledge of Vehicle proprietary suppliers / processes • Knowledge of different Vehicle parts ;Brakes , Clutch , Suspension , • Knowledge of Manufacturing and testing process and technology trends • Exposure to SAP • CFT working • Understanding of commercials & broad level business practices.
