Design Strategist
Apply NowAbout This Role:
We’re on the lookout for a creative storyteller and strategic thinker who can design compelling pitch decks, one-pagers, and brand presentations that drive brand and product narratives forward. While this role doesn't involve hands-on graphic or packaging design work, we’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of visual communication, packaging structure, and graphic design principles to support strategy, research, and design direction through visual presentations.
Responsibilities:
1. Design & Visual Storytelling
- Create high-impact pitch decks, one-pagers, and brand presentations for internal strategy and external pitches.
- Convert data, insights, and strategic direction into visually compelling and persuasive narratives.
- Organize and visualize research, trend reports, and competitive insights in a clear and branded format.
- Provide visual structure and flow to complex ideas and business strategies.
2. Design Knowledge & Creative Direction
- Demonstrate strong understanding of graphic design and packaging principles to guide deck visuals.
- Use knowledge of layout, typography, hierarchy, and brand systems to elevate the quality of visual storytelling.
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams by offering research-backed visual references and design support.
- Source relevant inspiration, examples, and competitor visuals to inform pitch deck and planning documents.
3. Research, Strategy & Market Planning
- Conduct independent research on market trends, design strategies, packaging innovations, and branding techniques.
- Support go-to-market planning with visual presentations and content structuring.
- Analyze brand/market research and turn strategic findings into visual direction.
- Stay on top of emerging creative trends, formats, and tools to improve deck and presentation outputs.
You Might Be a Great Fit If You:
- Have a strong portfolio that showcases high-quality pitch decks, marketing visuals, or brand presentations.
- Understand the fundamentals of design, packaging, and visual communication, even if you're not hands-on designing.
- Are confident working independently — sourcing visuals, data, and competitive research without waiting for direction.
- Can structure a deck from scratch and refine visual flow for clarity and impact.
- Are comfortable collaborating across cross-functional teams: creative, marketing, product, and brand.
Tools We Use:
- Presentation & Design: Google Slides, PowerPoint, Canva, Figma
- Graphic & Visual Support: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
