The group you’ll be a part of

You will join Lam Research and be apart of our Global Field Operations division within our Customer Support Business Group (CSBG).

The impact you’ll make

You will make a large scale impact leading a global field service organization responsible for customer install escalation resolution, install base performance, service execution, and operational excellence.

 

What you’ll do

- Lead a dedicated installation workforce located across multiple countries

- Drive on-time arrival, safety, workmanship quality, cost, and job scope performance

- Own installation performance to customer commit for schedule and budget

- Partner cross-functionally to resolve regional account issues

- Develop leaders and succession pipelines

- Develop and establish strategic initiatives and business processes for new workforce capacity sizing and delivery models

- Lead strategic initiatives to size capacity and coordinate across global account teams

- Responsible for quarterly operational and financial planning reviews

- Develop vendors and participate in service and pricing negotiations

- Travel in this role required up to 30%

Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10+ years of related Field Service or Operations experience and 5+ years in mgmt. An advanced degree preferred.

Preferred qualifications

- Proven global operations leader

- Strong customer-facing and executive communication skills

- Someone with extensive experience working in an account team leadership position

- Experience managing fast-paced environments and executive level escalations

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
