Department: Security 

Reports To: Director Of Security

Job Summary: As a Service Leader – Security, you are expected to lead by example while ensuring a safe and secure environment aligned with Shangri-La’s service standards. You will maintain operational oversight, manage incidents effectively, support guest interactions, and lead your team to uphold compliance, professionalism, and continuous improvement. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise security staff to ensure duties are carried out efficiently and in accordance with hotel standards and procedures.
• Oversee control of movement for packages, materials, and property entering and exiting the hotel.
• Ensure security staff remain vigilant and aware of potential security threats and their responsibilities.
• Respond to emergency situations in line with established Emergency Response Team (ERT) procedures.
• Enforce hotel rules and regulations and ensure compliance by all security personnel.

Job Requirement:

• Proficient in oral and written English and Malay.
• Minimum of 3 year of relevant experience in the Hotel or Security Industry.
• Strong sense of responsibility, calm and decisive in handling affairs, with keen ability to identify security risks.
• Willing to work in shift.
• First aider certificate.
• Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia shall be considered.
