About the Department of Anaesthesia  

Our department is a culturally diverse, family friendly group focused on delivering quality anaesthesia to the community has increasing interest in participating in clinical research offers a number of exciting opportunities, with exposure to both elective and emergency case load. 

About You 

The successful candidate will:  

• Director of Anaesthesia

• Operate in a team-based environment and is expected to exhibit positive communication skills.

• The successful candidate should be aligned with the broader goals of advancing the interests of the department.

Candidates require:  

• Australian working rights

• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

• Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications

• Working with Children's Certificate

• Current Drivers Licence

• Completion of at least two post-graduate years (PGY3+ at commencement) prior to commencement of the SRMO role

Referee Request

Once you submit the form, an automated request will be sent to each referee. You will receive an email notification when a referee has submitted their reference.   

Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure your referees complete their submissions before the application deadline. Reference responses will be considered as part of your application.   

If one of your referees is unable to complete your reference form, you can submit the reference request with an alternate referee’s details. However, if we receive more than three references, we will only consider the first three submitted references and will disregard any additional references. 

Referees are required to complete the reference forms within one week of the application closing date. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider any references received after this timeframe.
