Job Summary

GBM is looking for a motivated Distribution Support Specialist to serve as the single point of contact between GBM and our technology distribution partners across the UAE. You will manage inventory procurement from leading vendors including Cisco and Dell Technologies, and drive sell-through of that inventory into the commercial and SMB customer base.

This role carries a revenue target and includes commission as part of the overall compensation package, rewarding candidates who take ownership of their number and deliver results. It is an excellent entry point for someone with distributor or channel exposure who is ready to grow within a structured, high-performance sales environment.

Job Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned distributors (e.g. Ingram Micro, Mindware, Redington) to manage stock availability, order fulfilment, and pipeline visibility.
  • Coordinate inbound inventory from Cisco, Dell, and other key vendors — tracking lead times, purchase orders, and delivery status with distributors.
  • Drive sell-through of stocked inventory into commercial and SMB accounts through proactive outreach, quote generation, and deal support.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock reports, flagging ageing stock or slow-moving SKUs to the sales team for appropriate action.
  • Support account managers with product availability confirmations, pricing from distributor portals, and lead-time queries during the sales cycle.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor inside sales teams to ensure GBM is prioritised for allocations, deal registrations, and promotional pricing.
  • Track personal pipeline and performance metrics, reporting progress against targets to the Head of SDDC and Cloud Infrastructure on a regular basis.

Skill

  • 1–3 years of experience in a distribution, channel sales, or technology sales support role within the UAE or wider GCC

Familiarity with Cisco, Dell, or similar vendor product portfolios

Experience managing orders, inventory, or procurement coordination with a distributor

Ability to generate quotes and support proposals during the sales cycle

Strong follow-up discipline and attention to detail

Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
