Job Overview

Leading safety in the workplace including the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with established company, environmental and government regulations.

Job Requirements

Monitoring the deployment of initiatives required by the TEOA Safety Tool and driving the methodical deployment of programs to ensure input from stakeholders is considered, timelines for training are agreed upon and that required resources are acquired.
Driving action plans for the implementation of the organization’s EHS programs and taking a leadership role in delivering the organization’s EHS goals and strategy.
Supporting strategic decisions that affect the functional area and resolving escalated issues requiring cross-functional coordination.
Defining EHS training; advising management on EHS matters and implementation of regulations and TE policies, programs and specifications.

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with 12 or more years of experience; or Masters with 10 or more years of experience; or PhD level with 6 or more years of experience; or local equivalent
