External Job Description

 

Costing and Reconciliation

  1. Timely closure of all Monthly and Quarterly costing / Reconciliation of purchased products.
  2. Ensuring proper supporting/approvals and accuracy in RM and PM prices shared by OPCs.
  3. Pruning old POs.
  4. Raising PIRs.
  5. Compliance to Authority and Commercial Manual.

MIS Reports

  1. Preparation of Monthly Savings Report, Index Report, Import Data and Cost RTBOM.
  2. Preparing weighted average prices and sharing product prices with the Marketing Team.
  3. Ensuring accuracy and transparency in the MIS.
  4. Timely sharing of reports without any delay.
  5. Interaction with internal and external stakeholders for obtaining inputs required for report preparation.

New Product Costing

  1. Costing of new products as per the formulation shared by TF.
  2. Interaction with OPC, JVC and Purchase Team for obtaining prices of new RMs.
  3. Wherever assumptions are required to arrive at the final product cost, ensuring reasonableness and proper disclosures.

Process Streamlining & IT Automations

  1. Handling various automation projects of the Commercial Team.
  2. Defining proper system flows to ensure smooth implementation of IT projects.
  3. Documenting and streamlining various manual processes.

Payments

  1. Ensuring timely payment to OPCs and achieving the promised PPR.
  2. Weekly monitoring of open GRIR and proactively highlighting probable delay cases.
  3. Ensuring agreements with OPCs are active and renewed before expiry.
  4. Compliance with Asian Paints manuals and processes.
