External Job Description
Costing and Reconciliation
- Timely closure of all Monthly and Quarterly costing / Reconciliation of purchased products.
- Ensuring proper supporting/approvals and accuracy in RM and PM prices shared by OPCs.
- Pruning old POs.
- Raising PIRs.
- Compliance to Authority and Commercial Manual.
MIS Reports
- Preparation of Monthly Savings Report, Index Report, Import Data and Cost RTBOM.
- Preparing weighted average prices and sharing product prices with the Marketing Team.
- Ensuring accuracy and transparency in the MIS.
- Timely sharing of reports without any delay.
- Interaction with internal and external stakeholders for obtaining inputs required for report preparation.
New Product Costing
- Costing of new products as per the formulation shared by TF.
- Interaction with OPC, JVC and Purchase Team for obtaining prices of new RMs.
- Wherever assumptions are required to arrive at the final product cost, ensuring reasonableness and proper disclosures.
Process Streamlining & IT Automations
- Handling various automation projects of the Commercial Team.
- Defining proper system flows to ensure smooth implementation of IT projects.
- Documenting and streamlining various manual processes.
Payments
- Ensuring timely payment to OPCs and achieving the promised PPR.
- Weekly monitoring of open GRIR and proactively highlighting probable delay cases.
- Ensuring agreements with OPCs are active and renewed before expiry.
- Compliance with Asian Paints manuals and processes.
