Job Title: Early Childhood Teacher

Salary: AUD 80,000 – AUD 85,000 per annum plus superannuation

Community Kids Haven is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Teacher to join our passionate and supportive team in Greensborough, Victoria.

This role involves delivering high-quality educational programs, fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment, and supporting children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

Key Duties

• Provide high-quality care, supervision and education for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years
• Plan, implement and evaluate engaging, age-appropriate learning programs aligned with the EYLF
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment that supports children’s holistic development
• Facilitate transition-to-school programs and prepare transition reports within designated timeframes
• Assist with Kinder Funding applications and required documentation
• Organise and conduct parent information nights and maintain strong family engagement
• Observe, assess and document children’s learning and development
• Collaborate with families, colleagues and external professionals to support positive outcomes for children
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and compliant learning environment in line with NQS and regulatory standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement, team planning and centre initiatives

Skills and Experience Required

• ACECQA-approved early childhood teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood), Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience working in an early childhood education and care setting
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and relevant regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build strong relationships with families
• Organised, proactive and passionate about early childhood education

Mandatory Requirements

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
• Current Working with Children Check
• National Police Check (not more than 6 months old)
• Valid Australian working rights
• Any other checks or certifications required by law for the role
