Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Marketing Services (EBD) team in the capacity of:

 

Employee Benefits Sales Advisor (Contract) 

 

Sell and market the Company’s Employee Benefits products to new and existing clients and maintain at least 95% conservation of the portfolio.

 

Location: Mandeville, Manchester

 

As an Employee Benefits Sales Advisor, you will:

  • Promote the sale of Employee Benefits products.
  • Negotiate contract renewals.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships by establishing credibility and providing value-added service.
  • Provide periodic Claims Utilization analyses and recommend appropriate action to ensure viability. Conduct claims utilization educational sessions.
  • Assist in the collection of outstanding premiums.
  • Assist in strategic planning for the department by providing marketing intelligence on the Company’s competitors.
  • Assist the department head in identifying and making preliminary reports on perceived cases of fraud.
  • Prepare monthly productivity reports for submission to the Director of Sales.
  • Perform other related duties assigned from time to time.

 

What do you need?

  • A minimum of five (5) CXC/GCE O'Level subjects including a numeric subject**.**
  • Two (2) years’ working experience in Sales, one (1) year of which must be in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent time-management, human relations and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of the Group Insurance business.
  • Ability to work on own initiative given appropriate guidelines and objectives.
  • Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheets and word processing applications.
  • Ability to negotiate with clients and Underwriting regarding rates and benefits.
  • Ownership of a reliable motor car.
