RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, implement, and optimize Power Plant Control systems for renewable energy assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced control strategies into Unity REMS.
  • Monitor and analyze power plant performance to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational excellence.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for control system configurations and updates.
  • Participate in the testing and commissioning of new control technologies and upgrades.
  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies to proactively improve PPC methodologies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of power plant operations, particularly in renewable energy.
  • Experience with SCADA systems, control algorithms, and performance analytics.
  • Proficiency in programming languages relevant to control systems, such as Python or C++.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols used in renewable energy systems (e.g., Modbus, DNP3).
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights to inform decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
