ABOUT THE ROLE

As a key member of project team, product engineer will lead the engineering activities of new product development to ensure all deliverables provided on time and high-quality, and cooperate with project members to ensure the project move forward smoothly by following TENPLUS procedure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical communication with customers
Design the new shock absorber and release it (BOM & 2D drawings) in GPDM system
Prepare engineering documents, such as DVP, CC/SC list, DFMEA, Supplier list
Follow up DV/PV progress, includes releasing test request to testing lab
Create sample binder, support prototype preparation & build event
Release ride work & tuning kit request and support tuning event
Lead problem solving for the engineering issues during development

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Know the new product development process for Tier 1 supplier that meet quality system requirement. Experience of working with EU/US OEs is preferred
Minimum 5 years in machinery or automotive industry, chassis related is preferred）
Good communication skills and independent work ability. A positive attitude and sense of teamwork
Fluent English (or other foreign languages) in speaking and writing
Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering or automotive engineering
Know the quality system and be able to use tools, like IATF16949, APQP, 6Sigma, 8D, DFMEA
QS internal auditor or YB certification is plus
