POSITION SUMMARY:    

The Executive Assistant, based at our global headquarters in Denver, Colorado, serves as a proactive partner to members of Advanced Energy’s executive leadership team, as well as their organizations.  This role provides primary executive support to the Chief Executive Officer, Chief People Officer, and General Counsel.

This role is responsible for handling highly confidential, critical information, including collecting and preparing materials for executive staff discussions and meetings, and preparing presentation materials for executive meetings and the board of directors.

In addition to traditional executive support responsibilities, the Executive Assistant serves as a coordinator and facilitator of key business initiatives, helping drive execution, accountability, and organizational effectiveness. The successful candidate exercises sound judgment, anticipates needs, manages competing priorities, and serves as a trusted resource to executives and their teams.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively manage calendars, priorities, and scheduling for multiple executives.
  • Coordinate executive travel, expense reporting, and related administrative activities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support meetings and events, including logistics, agendas, materials, minutes, and follow-up action items.
  • Coordinate preparation for executive staff meetings, leadership reviews, Board of Directors meetings, and other key forums.
  • Support execution of organizational initiatives, leadership events, special projects, and executive-sponsored programs.
  • Manage confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion, professionalism, and judgment.
  • Serve as a liaison among executives, employees, candidates, external partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Create, edit, and maintain presentations, communications, reports, SharePoint sites, and other business materials.
  • Manage and track special projects, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and deadlines are communicated and achieved.
  • Anticipate executive needs, recommend process improvements, and help enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Provide backup support to other Executive Assistants and attend Board of Directors meetings, including occasional travel.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

  • Location: Denver, CO
  • Environment: Standard in-person office environment

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong written communication skills (grammar, syntax)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio)
  • High degree of professionalism in interactions and attire
  • Project management capabilities
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations; position requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy
  • Strong attention to detail and high-quality work product
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Analytical ability required to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work
  • Proactive nature and continuous improvement mindset

 

EXPERIENCE:

Essential

  • 5+ years of experience supporting multiple executives concurrently or similar responsibilities

 

Desirable

  • Previous experience supporting the Chief Executive Officer

 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree

 

COMPENSATION:                     

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting.  Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.  The range of starting pay for this role is $90,000 to $130,000 per year.
