 Position: Executivo de Vendas Porto Alegre/RS

Location : Porto Alegre 

Role Summary

As a Key Account Manager for Indirect Channels, you will lead the strategy for the Atacarejo (Cash & Carry) and Distributor segments, managing 33% of the total sales volume for Brazil. We are looking for a direct, field-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the influence to drive Colgate’s multi-category growth and execution excellence at the point of sale.


Main Responsibilities

  • Strategic Channel Management: Oversee two key indirect channels, with a primary focus on Atacarejo (Cash & Carry),
  • Portfolio Expansion: Drive growth in Varejo and Atacarejo by persuading buyers to expand product assortment and implement multi-category strategies beyond the core portfolio.
  • Distributor Optimization: Partner with distributors to improve market coverage and service levels for retailers, ensuring effective communication with supervisors and sales forces.
  • Strategy Execution: Lead the implementation of corporate strategies (e.g., Colgate’s "Perfect Store") at the point of sale, ensuring superior execution across all categories.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytical tools such as Nielsen, Neogrid, and Scantech to monitor KPIs, identify market gaps, and support commercial planning.
  • Field Leadership: Maintain a strong presence in the field, directly engaging with the operation to influence sell-out and strengthen partner relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • Residency: Must be based in Porto Alegre - RS.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields (Finance, Management, or Commercial/Sales-related majors).
  • Travel: Willingness and availability for frequent business travel.
  • Territory: Ability to cover Porto Alegre, Santa Maria, Pelotas, Uruguaiana, Santana do Livramento, and surrounding cities.
  • Client Experience: Proven experience managing Distributors and Cash & Carry (C&C) accounts.
  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license (must not be expired or suspended).
  • Vehicle: Must own a personal vehicle available for business use.

  • Basic English
