About the role

 

The Export Planner – Trade Preference plays a key role in Kerry’s international trade compliance activities, with a focus on preferential origin, trade preference programmes, and customs requirements. Working with SAP GTS, trade documentation, and product and supply chain data, this position contributes to compliant cross-border trade operations while identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost savings. The role engages with a wide range of stakeholders across Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Care, Sales, suppliers, and external partners to ensure the accurate application of trade preferences and effective management of trade-related information.

 

The first three months of the probation period will be office‑based (Oleśnica), followed by 10 days per month in the office.

Key responsibilities

 

  • Review inbound and outbound goods movements to identify transactions relevant to trade preference assessments.
  • Evaluate Bills of Materials (BOMs) to facilitate preferential origin assessments.
  • Contribute to the effective application of trade preferences within SAP GTS while helping to enhance GTS capabilities across the Trade function.
  • Prepare and maintain origin documentation for Kerry exports.
  • Gather and validate vendor documentation, including statements of origin and supplier declarations.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and audit trails in line with compliance requirements.
  • Offer timely guidance to stakeholders in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Participate in audit activities and address data requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain FTA and tariff content within SAP GTS, including updates received from external providers.Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging new tools and system functionality to strengthen and evolve Kerry’s trade preference processes.
  • Partner with colleagues across Procurement, Customer Care, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Sales to ensure effective execution of trade preference activities.
  • Maintain productive relationships with brokers, suppliers, and external partners.Communicate information clearly and effectively to a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Contribute to projects that enhance efficiency, compliance, and cost-saving opportunities within the Trade function.

Qualifications and skills

 

  • 3–5 years’ experience in customs, international trade, or trade compliance.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or International Trade.
  • Working knowledge of regional and global customs regulations.
  • Experience with evaluating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product composition.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VBA.
  • Experience working with SAP R/3 and SAP GTS.
  • Knowledge of UK and EU trade legislation.
