Field Market Engineer - Polymers and Composites - NAM

Summary: Drive the growth of our Additives business across the Polymers & Composites markets in North America. In this high‑impact role, you will uncover new opportunities, expand our market presence, and lead the successful introduction of innovative products. You’ll stay ahead of industry trends, translating emerging needs into commercial success. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Technology, Product Management, Supply Chain, and other cross‑functional teams to accelerate profitable growth. This is a strategic, customer‑facing position where your technical insight and market expertise directly shape our regional success and future portfolio.

Customer Engagement & Technical Enablement: • Travel and meet Customer and Distributors face to face to ensure business development • Provide technical guidance and application support to facilitate solution adoption • Translate customer needs and market trends into actionable insights for marketing, technology and business teams

Account Management: • Close new sales and coordinate with regional Sales team. • Manage Key Accounts • Support pricing discussions

Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Technology, and Product Management • Support training, events, and promotional activities

Performance Monitoring & Reporting: • Track market development activities and impact on growth metrics • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and feedback • Contribute to business reviews and regional planning forums

The following are _preferred _for the role: • Familiarity with technical product lines and application support • Preferred degrees in Chemistry, Plastics, Chemical Engineering • Experience in Adhesives, Sealants and Coatings would be a plus • 5-10 years of direct sales or techno commercial experience in the Plastic/Polymer additives • Marketing experience and Project Management skills Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
