Therefore, we are looking for a Regional Field Service Engineer to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.
Your role in our team
As part of the support and service team you will be involved in preparation, installation and commissioning of Command & Control systems and Radar Systems onboard Naval vessels. You will also be involved in repair and maintenance activities and be a part of the group of employees that takes care of customer enquiries and support. You will be involved primarily in Indonesia as well in various location within the Asia Pacific region.
You will be part of a team of highly professional colleagues and will be interacting with colleagues from other regions/countries as well as product specialists and sales support staff in Denmark.
How you will make a meaningful contribution
Your key responsibilities include:

- Executing hardware, software and system installation + commissioning and testing
- Provide troubleshooting, repair and maintenance activities
- Prepare maintenance and installation documentation
- Provide technical support to customers by email, phone and on site
- Generate service reports regarding activities
- Conduct technical training and sales support periodically
- Undertake other ad-hoc duties when required
- Frequent travelling in the Indonesia and Asia Pacific region and occasionally to our headquarters in Denmark is a requirement.
Bring your world class expertise into play
You are fluent in Bahasa and English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:

- Education/degree: Technical, military and/or commercial, academic degree
- Higher NITEC/Diploma in electronics Engineering or similar
- Educated within and good knowledge within IT, networking and communications systems
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in field support like installation and repair /maintenance of technical solutions in defense or security related industry
- Shall be able to work at heights
- Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Willing to work long and irregular hours, including weekend
- Required frequent travel for field assignments both inside and outside Indonesia, approximately 100-150 days a year, each period from a few days to 2 months
- A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills is a must
- Mechanically skilled, educated or proof of workmanship knowledge and experience
