Our Team, Your Impact
This role offers high visibility and impact at country level, with full ownership of financial planning, forecasting and performance management for the country P&L.
The position acts as a key Finance Business Partner to senior commercial and finance stakeholders, directly influencing strategic and operational decisions across Gx and Ix business units.
It provides exposure to end‑to‑end business planning cycles (LRP, AOP, Rolling Forecasts), cross‑functional collaboration with leadership teams, and close interaction with Cluster and Corporate Finance.
The role is suited for a senior individual contributor looking to further develop business partnering capabilities, strategic financial insight and readiness for future Finance leadership roles within BP&A or broader Finance organizations.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Perform variance analysis versus plans and forecasts, clearly identifying business drivers, risks and opportunities.
- Set up, maintain and continuously improve efficient management reporting and planning processes using SAP BI, Hyperion (Essbase/SmartView) and local tools.
- Act as Finance Business Partner for Gx and Ix business units, providing financial insights to support performance management, portfolio optimization and decision‑making.
- Deliver analysis on brand profitability, margins, sales and marketing investments and return on investment.
- Support the leadership team with financial insights for strategic planning, pipeline evaluation and business opportunity assessment.
- Collaborate with Country Finance Lead and Accounting to ensure compliance with corporate policies, financial guidelines and local regulatory requirements (e.g. SOX).
- Work closely with Europe Controlling and other country controllers to ensure accuracy, quality and timeliness of recurring controlling deliverables.
Your Skills and Experience
- Ability to independently own and drive end‑to‑end financial planning, forecasting and management reporting processes (LRP, AOP, Rolling Forecasts, monthly actuals).
- Strong analytical capability with proven ability to perform variance analysis, identify business drivers, risks and opportunities, and translate financial data into clear management insights.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial performance management.
- Strong business partnering capability, including the ability to work closely with senior business stakeholders and support decision‑making across commercial and finance functions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Hands‑on experience in FP&A / Business Controlling / Finance roles within a complex organizational environment.
- Strong ownership mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Also Good to Have
- Experience in Pharmaceutical, FMCG or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience working in a matrix and/or international organization.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP / SAP BI systems.
- Experience with Hyperion tools (Essbase / SmartView).
- Exposure to internal controls, compliance frameworks and SOX requirements.
- Prior experience working with Cluster or Corporate Finance stakeholders.
