What you’ll do: This is an excellent chance for a Financial Crime Analyst to dive into the world of financial crime detection in the banking industry. As a key member of the Financial Crime Detection Team, you’ll help identify, investigate, and mitigate financial crime risks, safeguarding our bank and customers. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
• Support Daily Detection Operations: Play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our Financial Crime Detection Team, helping ensure tasks and responsibilities are managed smoothly. • Investigate Suspicious Activity: Examine transaction monitoring alerts to detect and investigate potentially suspicious activities. • Conduct In-Depth Reviews: Perform detailed checks on periodic and enhanced due diligence alerts to verify compliance and accuracy. • Spot Emerging Trends: Use data analysis to identify new financial crime trends and patterns. • Oversee Payment Reviews: Carry out payment reviews efficiently, balancing risk management with customer experience. • Collaborate with External Entities: Liaise with other financial institutions and law enforcement to address and prevent financial crime. • Engage Across Departments: Work with various teams within the business to support company-wide financial crime prevention strategies. • Enhance Processes: Assist in refining and updating existing processes, systems, and procedures to improve effectiveness.
