We’re now looking for an experienced Fleet Manager to lead the performance, compliance, and optimisation of our fleet operations.
The role
This role is focused on managing and strengthening courier contractor relationships across the network. As Fleet Manager, you’ll work closely with courier contractors to support operational performance, compliance, engagement, and service excellence.
You’ll act as the key link between contractors and the business, ensuring contractors are supported to operate successfully while maintaining high service standards for customers. The role combines operational leadership, relationship management, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
What you’ll be doing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with courier contractors
- Support contractor onboarding, engagement, performance, and development
- Monitor contractor operational performance and service delivery standards
- Work collaboratively with operations teams to resolve delivery and service issues
- Ensure contractors meet compliance, health & safety, and company standards
- Provide coaching, guidance, and support to contractors to drive operational success
- Manage contractor communications and handle escalations professionally and effectively
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and efficiency gains
