Our Transition Care Service has expanded, with a site in Adelaide and a new location now open in Walkerville. With this growth, we’re ready to welcome additional Food Services and Site Assistants.
Working between the Pullman Hotel in Adelaide’s CBD and our newest location in Walkerville, you will join the team on a part-time basis, working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Shifts are scheduled on a rotating roster across seven days, including weekends.
The role:
- Assist patients with menus.
- Deliver meals to patient rooms with warmth and professionalism.
- Maintain cleanliness in service areas.
- Communicate with nursing and dietary staff regarding patient meal preferences or concerns.
- Follow all hygiene, safety, and infection control protocols.
- Management of supplies and equipment for the TCS.
About you
- A caring, patient-focused attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Previous experience in hospitality or healthcare (preferred).
- Works well within a team environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Hold a South Australian Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or are willing and eligible to obtain).
- If successful, willing and able to provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations.
