Freight Handler | FULL-TIME | Palmerston North

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as Freight Handler who is looking for a challenge then this might be what you're looking for.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will work with a tight crew, led by a Distribution Manager. Key responsibilities for this role to unload / load Express Package Freight to ensure timely turnaround of road linehaul, and Aircraft.

• Ability to follow instructions well and be a team player.
• Follow OSH standards and implement procedures where necessary.
• Promote and adhere to PARCELINE EXPRESS philosophy of safe, efficient on time arrivals and departures

This is a full-time position with the workdays being Monday to Friday, with the daily hours worked to be 7:00 pm - 3:00 am.

ABOUT YOU

• Flexible and reliable
• Physically fit and active with a 'can do' attitude and likes to get the job done.
• Passionate about keeping customers happy
• High regard for Health & Safety standards
• The ability to work the night shift
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Must have a valid full class 1 NZ drivers licence
• Must have a clean MOJ and pass a Pre-Employment drug screen
