The OpportunityKOMODO is looking for a talented Gameplay Engineer based in Tokyo to join the core team behind Nanos, a competitive PvP action game currently in early prototyping. You will help build the core gameplay systems that make combat feel responsive and satisfying. This includes developing controls, ability systems, match flow, and gameplay logic. You will work closely with designers and artists to turn creative ideas into polished, high-performance features.
As an early member of the game engineering team, you will have a direct impact on how the game plays and feels as it moves into full production. A successful candidate will combine a deep passion for gaming with strong technical skills in coding and rapid prototyping. You are someone who enjoys turning creative ideas into functional gameplay experiences, with a focus on responsiveness and player feel. Experience developing competitive or PvP-based games is highly desirable, along with a collaborative mindset and a drive to take action and deliver results.
