Job Vacancy: General AccountantA leading accounting and auditing firm located in Amman, Jordan, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated General Accountant to join our professional team. We are specifically looking for a candidate who has gained their core accounting experience working inside commercial and industrial companies. Key Responsibilities:• Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations for clients and ensure financial accuracy. • Prepare, review, and post journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger activities. • Handle accounting functions related to industrial and commercial client operations, including cost accounting, inventory valuation, and supply chain financials. • Monitor accounts receivable/payable and follow up on aging reports. • Assist in the preparation of monthly/annual financial statements, closing procedures, and tax filings.
