What you’ll do:

General Accounting Analyst
Expert in end-to-end accounting processes, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) management, as well as ensuring compliance with tax obligations—particularly VAT. Proficient in intercompany operations and transfer pricing. This individual will join the Corporate Sites Accounting Team, working closely with the Tax department and other internal stakeholders. Adept at maintaining compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements while driving process efficiency and accuracy.

Job Responsibilities:
1.    Record and maintain accounting entries for provisional and final tax figures.
2.    Reconcile accounting and tax figures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
3.    Prepare bank account reconciliations and provide continuous follow-up on payroll accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
4.    Accurately calculate and post monthly provisions.
5.    Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice verification, coding, and posting.
6.    Collaborate with cross-functional teams on expense forecasting and accrual adjustments.
7.    Support and/or lead departmental initiatives related to process improvements and standardization.
8.    Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement to achieve departmental and GFA objectives. Support site, functional, or corporate initiatives.
9.    Collaborate with Internal Control and Statutory Audit teams for activities within the scope.
10.    Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or as required by management or the company.
11.    Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with all Eaton safety standards, Life Saving Rules, and daily 5S+ practices to support a Zero Incident Culture.

Education level required:

Bachelor degree necessary in Public Accountant.

Years and area of experience required:

2 - 4 years of experience in general accounting (AR, AP, Taxes)

Technical knowledge
•    Knowledge of Mexican statutory reporting requirements essential, such as Tax regulation
•    Exposure to US GAAP / MEX GAAP reporting requirements, and audit support.
•    ERP Knowledge  (Desirable SAP/Oracle)
•    Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (read, listen, speak)

- Ability to operate and deliver independently without day to day supervision
