Your team’s dynamic:
Our group is responsible for the Product Management of open, unified, and enterprise-level security solutions that enables video monitoring, access control and many other functionalities across thousands of servers and devices. These powerful solutions include enterprise class hardware from small remote appliance to rackmount server and storage. Our solutions allow airports, retail chains, transportation control centers, cities, schools, prisons, etc., around the world to improve safety and security for the protection of our daily lives.
Your day at a glance:
Responsible in full for Product Line Management including:
- Developing the Appliance hardware roadmap for its present generation, coming changes, and the next generation of hardware
- New Product introduction including analysis on market need, pricing, designing, introduction with CMs
- Work with suppliers and sales on custom parts for strategic opportunities
- Perform business analysis on the appliance portfolio to monitor margin anomalies and identify trends in sales numbers
- Be responsible for the maintenance and development of technical sales tools
- Provide technical sales support for questions related to deployment and maintenance of Appliances
- Analyse performance of contract manufacturers including quality reviews and pricing audits
- Provide input to R&D on the development of software tools and features
- Collaborate with marketing to produce internal and external training content for the product line
What makes you a great fit:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Computer Sciences, Business with IT background or equivalent experience
- Three years or more of experience in product, services management or IT field
- Superior planning and prioritization abilities – Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and successfully within respective constraints and deadlines
- Strong collaboration skills – demonstrated ability to lead and influence others in a project and matrix environment
- Strong people skills and approachability; capacity to interact at all levels of the organization
- Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written (this role requires interaction with our international collaborators and customers)
An asset if you have:
- Experience in the physical security market
- Experience in the IT/Storage business
- Experience with Computer Hardware
- Vendor Specific certification such as Dell, Microsoft, VMware, etc.
