Key accountabilities and responsibilities:

  • Contribute to implementation of strategy and sales targets by managing of existing products and product lines throughout their life cycle
  • Execute marketing strategies operationally
  • Product management of existing product portfolio
  • Manage special client requests for existing product portfolio with the corresponding interfaces and drive them towards execution incl. customer facing communication
  • Handle general product line inquiries and issues, such as change notifications, critical quality issues and critical supply disruptions
  • Actively drive communication to sales and customers on supply disruptions
  • Actively drive and continuously improve the customer change notification process
  • Support investment planning and measures of operations by providing necessary deliverables
  • Drive risk mitigation activities, e.g. second sourcing strategy, product and packaging improvement
  • Bring modifications and structure measures to the product range short term and long term, e.g. life cycle product analysis
  • Support new product launches and ensure addition of new products into the systems on time, including the collection of product information, coordination of the internal functions  and defining the product/inventory level
  • Represent the business interest in internal projects and discussions by bringing the customer view, e.g. e-commerce, labels, packaging, Quality-related projects
  • Drive and support various projects to optimize business targets, e.g. predefined strategic initiatives, complex change projects, portfolio analysis, customer complaints, compliance projects
  • Optimize the processes towards speed and cost efficiency

Candidate’s profile

Education:

Bachelors degree (master degree preferred) in business or natural science (preferred biotechnology biochemistry, pharma or bioinformatics)

Work Experience and Competencies:

  • Proven track record of managing complex projects including stakeholder management in a matrix environment
  • Proven track record of managing high tech business-2-business products and services, preferably in a highly regulated industry
  • 4+ years of professional experience within life science, pharmaceutical or data analytics industry: marketing, sales, technical service or some combination thereof
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills (English,  additional language would be a plus)
