The Global SC Data Management – Governance & Change Management Lead is accountable for leading, overseeing, and coordinating all Global Supply Chain (SC) Data Management governance, change management, and training activities in close alignment with cross-functional stakeholders and global programs. The role ensures data-related business readiness for system implementations (e.g. SAP MDG/ECC) through structured change management, training execution, and stakeholder alignment. It is accountable for defining and implementing the global SC data governance framework and change management approach, ensuring consistent adoption of data processes, governance standards, and system capabilities across regions and functions.

In the context of the transformation, the role drives standardization, centralization, and capability build-up, enabling scalable and business-aligned data management.

 

How You’ll Spend Your Day

 

  • Define and continuously evolve the global SC data governance framework, including policies, roles, and governance bodies/structures
  • Establish and facilitate governance forums, ensuring clear decision-making, documentation, and follow-up tracking
  • Drive end-to-end change management for material and supply chain data processes and systems, including stakeholder alignment and impact assessment
  • Develop and execute a SC data training strategy, including delivery, tracking, and alignment with program timelines
  • Ensure data-related business readiness for system implementations (e.g., SAP MDG/ECC), including training, communication, user access, and adoption
  • Manage the MDG user community, including structured communication and engagement approach
  • Build and scale the global SC data management user community, including a consistent communication framework
  • Drive harmonization and standardization of data processes across regions and functions
  • Monitor adoption and governance effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement actions
  • Lead and coordinate a team of change management and training experts, providing functional leadership and clear direction across governance, change management, and training activities; ensure priority setting, workload allocation and capability build-up

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • University degree or equivalent education, preferably in a scientific, technical, or business discipline.
  • Strong understanding of master data governance frameworks, standards, policies, and business rules
  • Experience with enterprise data systems (e.g., ERP, MDM platforms) and planning systems, preferably including SAP MDG / SAP ECC and/or SAP IBP/APO
  • Experience in driving change management, stakeholder alignment, and business readiness in the context of data processes and system implementations
  • Strong knowledge of training design, delivery, and adoption tracking in global programs
  • Understanding of MDM and end-to-end supply chain processes,
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to work in multicultural and cross-functional environments
  • Strong organizational and governance facilitation and coordination capabilities
  • Ability to lead topics end-to-end, manage escalations, and drive outcomes across cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience in setting up or evolving data governance and change management capabilities in a global environment, including coordinating resources and operating in a team lead role
  • Strong facilitation and influencing skills, including experience with senior stakeholder engagement and decision-making support
