Join us as a Grade II Surveyor (Offshore) DOF Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a driven and capable Grade II Surveyor to join our team full‑time. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting offshore survey and inspection projects across DOF’s global operations. Working alongside Senior Surveyors and Party Chiefs, you’ll operate cutting‑edge online survey systems, manage positioning equipment, and carry out essential data processing to deliver precise and dependable survey results. Responsibilities include: • Operate and configure online survey software for basic survey operations, including data logging and monitoring data quality. • Conduct basic configuration and operation of GNSS, USBL, and LBL positioning systems. • Assist with acoustic positioning calibrations and sensor calibration/monitoring activities. • Perform basic data processing for verification and presentation; identify and remove erroneous data. • Configure geodetic parameters and demonstrate strong understanding of datums, projections, reference spheroids, precision, accuracy, and survey error concepts. • Undertake water column measurements; understand effects of tides, sound velocity, and water column parameters on survey observations.
