Group HR Specialist
Apply NowWe are seeking an experienced Group HR Specialist to join our Corporate HR team. The Group HR Specialist is responsible for delivering end-to-end HR operations with a strong focus on pan-European payroll management, compliance, and process optimization. The role combines payroll expertise, HR generalist support in selected countries, and active contribution to HR projects, systems improvements, and automation initiatives.
SOME OF THE INTERESTING CHALLENGES AHEAD OF YOU
Payroll Management (Pan-European)
- Manage and coordinate monthly payroll processes across multiple European countries
- Lead payroll provider transitions and implementation of a global payroll solution
- Act as the main point of contact for external payroll providers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Review payroll inputs (attendance, variable data, changes) and validate outputs
- Continuously optimize payroll processes and ensure standardization across countries
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Perform HR administrative activities including:
- Onboarding and offboarding processes
- Preparation of employment documentation (contracts, amendments, terminations)
- Maintenance of employee records and HR databases
- Act as HR generalist support for selected countries, ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations
- Ensure data accuracy and proper documentation in line with internal policies
Compliance & Legal Awareness
- Proactively monitor changes in local labor legislation across assigned countries
- Assess impact of legislative changes on HR policies, payroll, and employment practices
- Collaborate with external legal and payroll advisors to ensure compliance
- Support GDPR compliance and HR-related audits
Compensation & Benefits
- Support administration and coordination of compensation and benefits programs
- Participate in benchmarking, updates, and harmonization initiatives across countries
- Ensure accurate reflection of C&B elements in payroll processes
HR Systems & Process Improvement
- Work actively with HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and usability
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and digitalization (paperless initiatives)
- Propose and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and employee experience
HR Projects
- Actively participate in and support projects related to:
- Payroll transformation and harmonization
- Legal and compliance updates
- Compensation & benefits initiatives
- HR process standardization and automation
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Cooperate with:
- External payroll providers and consultants
- Legal advisors
- Internal stakeholders (HR team, Finance, Office Coordinators)
- Ensure effective communication across countries and functions
WHAT YOU NEED TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE
- Strong understanding of European payroll processes
- Knowledge of labor law principles across multiple jurisdictions (with support from external experts)
- Analytical mindset with focus on accuracy and compliance
- Experience with HRIS systems and process optimization
- Ability to work in an international, matrix environment
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and detail-focused
