Group Head - Investment

1.      Leadership, oversight and support to junior investments team members, including performance reviews, objectives, learning and development. 2.      Monitoring and management of investment related risks (and investment performance) within agreed tolerance levels. 3.      Obtain necessary approvals to execute trades / hedges. 4.      Developing and seeking approval of the investment strategy, portfolio and asset allocation and subsequent implementation of strategy / plan. 5.      Oversee the development and performance of the Investments unit. 6.      Ensure strict adherence to policies governing the Investments activities by all team members. 7.      Ensuring that an effective controls environment is in place. 8.      Communicating effectively with stakeholders across the Group, including Group Treasurer, INVESTCO, and Board. 9.      Actively manage key external relationships such as fund managers, brokers, etc. 10.  Presenting investment proposals to INVESTCO and respond to questions. 11.  Monitoring and managing risk to risk appetite using MI such as VaR, PV01, etc. 12.  Write clear and well-informed investment recommendations based on thorough research and analysis. 13.  Ensuring good lines of communication are maintained across all Treasury Front Office and Treasury support functions. 14.  Attend regular and ad hoc meetings and briefings. Manage Internal stakeholder by discussing and informing investment performance and relevant information - assurance management.
