A DAY IN A LIFE At Teleport, we’re building toward IPO — and that means doing the boring things well. Execution, discipline, and follow-through matter as much as big ideas. Your day will be varied, often crossing functions, but most of your time will focus on delivering results, owning your scope end-to-end, making fast, data-informed decisions, and following through on fundamentals like reporting, documentation, and processes. How we work matters as much as what we achieve. Doing the basics right, every time, sets us up for success.

Most of your time will be spent driving impact through: • Assisting line managers in effectively addressing current employee concerns and challenges. • Delivering advisory services throughout crucial processes and discussions, including annual reviews, career development talks, performance issue resolutions, and sensitive communications. • Maintaining vigilant oversight and ensuring accountability for all HR process deliveries affecting the employee life cycle, encompassing onboarding, disciplinary actions, grievance handling, leave management, exits, policy enforcement, career transitions, and performance management. • Supporting the implementation of engagement, recognition, Inclusion & Diversity, and Leadership connect initiatives. This encompasses Engagement Surveys, town halls for employees and leadership, focus group dialogues, site visits, Celebrating Performance events, and recognition programs. • Providing valuable insights and feedback garnered from business operations and employee groups to HR functional teams responsible for HR programs and processes. • Guiding line managers and supervisors in their roles and responsibilities within employee engagement and people programs. Offering advisory support when needed. • Acting as a trusted advisor and advocate in processes such as talent discussions, probationary reviews, performance improvement plans, and managed departures. • Serving as the primary liaison and managing relationships with stakeholder groups and key individuals. • Effectively resolving any escalated issues and mitigating risks.
