HRIS Support & Functional Analyst

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

 

The HRIS Support & Functional Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the stability, reliability and continuous improvement of SES's global HR technology landscape.

The role provides operational, technical and data support across HR systems, working closely with HRIS Product Owners, HR stakeholders, IT teams and external vendors. In addition to supporting day-to-day operations, the position contributes to system enhancements, testing activities, releases, process improvements and digital transformation initiatives that enhance the employee and HR experience.

This role offers an opportunity to gain exposure to enterprise HR technologies, global HR processes and large-scale HR transformation programs while developing expertise in SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HR systems and related digital solutions.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

 

Operational HRIS Support and System Reliability (35%)

 

  • Provide day-to-day support for SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HR systems and related HR technology platforms.
  • Manage incidents, service requests and user queries, ensuring timely resolution and a high-quality user experience.
  • Perform root-cause analysis for recurring issues and partner with IT teams, vendors and Product Owners to implement sustainable solutions.
  • Monitor system performance, data quality and operational risks, escalating issues where appropriate and driving resolution through to closure.
  • Support system stability by identifying opportunities to reduce recurring issues and improve operational efficiency.

 

HRIS Delivery, Testing and Releases (30%)

 

  • Support HRIS Product Owners in the delivery of system enhancements, releases and projects across the HR technology landscape.
  • Execute system testing activities, including functional testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Validate system behavior against business requirements, document results and report defects or issues.
  • Assist with release preparation, deployment activities and post-release validation to ensure successful implementation of approved changes.
  • Support configuration validation and data verification activities as required.

 

Continuous Improvement and Digital Enablement (15%)

 

  • Contribute to initiatives that improve HR processes, user experience and operational efficiency through technology.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process simplification and improved system adoption.
  • Support implementation of new system capabilities and digital solutions by providing testing, validation and operational expertise.
  • Participate in HR technology improvement initiatives and transformation projects as assigned.
  • Stay informed on HR technology trends and emerging capabilities to support continuous improvement opportunities.

 

User Support, Knowledge Management and Adoption (10%)

 

  • Provide guidance and support to employees, managers and HR teams on HR system functionality and usage.
  • Maintain operational documentation, knowledge articles, user guides and support materials.
  • Contribute to user enablement activities and help improve adoption of HR technology solutions across the organization.
  • Promote consistent use of HR systems and support best practices across the user community.

 

Data Quality and Compliance Support (10%)

 

  • Support data maintenance activities and assist in ensuring the accuracy, consistency and integrity of HR system data.
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation activities where required.
  • Follow established governance, security and compliance standards related to HR systems and employee data.
  • Support audit activities, documentation requirements and compliance-related reviews as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline
  • 2-5 years of experience in HRIS support, HR technology, application support or systems analyst roles
  • Experience working with enterprise HR platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday or similar HR systems
  • Experience supporting business applications, troubleshooting issues and working with end users
  • Exposure to testing activities, system releases or implementation projects is advantageous
  • Experience working within incident management, service management or ticketing frameworks is beneficial
  • Understanding of HR processes and HR technology environments is preferred
  • Experience working in a global or multinational environment is an advantage
